    About Me I'm gay and am married to my same-sex partner. We've been together now for 18 years. In 2006 we adopted two brothers, ages 10 and 12 years. I am also the official human companion for a rather demanding feline. I'm a voracious reader and bibliophile. I've been practicing as an eclectic Wiccan since my early teen years.

    I'm also an author -- you'll find my stuff online at places like MysticWicks.com in their e-zine, and on paper in Circle Magazine. I've also got a new book out: The Wiccan Mystic. Check it out!

    Movies Nightbreed, Spirited Away, Rat Race, The Wicker Man (the original one, not the Nick Cage one).
    TV I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer. My current favourites are Heroes and Battlestar Galactica.
    Books Anything by Doreen Valiente.
    Likes Occultism in all its forms, learning about magickal history, and reading in general. I also love to draw although I haven't done very much of it lately. I love spending time with my kids. Going for nature walks is another thing I love to do.
    Dislikes People who are so close-minded that they can't acknowledge facts that are staring them in the face. People who are bigots (racist, homophobic, sexist, etc.)
    Hobbies Reading, drawing, watching sci-fi and fantasy movies.
    Vices Chocolate and books!

    My book is out!

    My book, my long-fussed-over labour of love, "The Wiccan Mystic" is now out!  I spotted it first on Amazon.com last night.  It should start showing up elsewhere too.

    My book is an intermediate to advanced nonfiction examination of mystery religions and mysticism within a Wiccan context.  It presents solid information about key topics such as initiation, Mystery, trancework, and connecting and deepening one's relationship with the Divine in Its multitude of manifestations.

    Over on MysticWicks.com there was a bit of discussion about a new Pagan networking site sort of like MySpace.  I thought I'd come over and check it out myself.

    It looks cool.  I'm not sure how much I'll post here but I'll check it out anyways.  I have a LiveJournal blog but that tends to be more about my mundane life than my Pagan one.  Perhaps I'll use this site for my more spiritual blog posts.
